Our founder, Linda Wang created Karuna to make skincare simple. As a child, Linda suffered from eczema. One doctor prescribed an ointment and instructed her to wrap the rash with plastic wrap to push the medicine deeper. Within a matter of days, the rash was gone! That was the "AH HAH" moment!
She traveled to Asia and came across sheet masks. Instantly she knew this technique could work in the same way. When she couldn’t find one she loved--she started to handpick ingredients that provided visible skin benefits for her own skincare line...And just like that, Karuna was born.
